as far as alumni mixers go, this was pretty tame and completely opposite of what i expected. oh, wait: this is the first one i've been to. lack of comparisons aside, there were maybe 25 people in the room at once and my 2 girlfriends and i were the only representative force of the class of 95. but we hung for over 3 hours, meeting alums from the early eighties, hamming it up with one of the teachers (in his words "teachers are flakes"... he was the only educator who showed!), and trading stories with fellow band geeks. long story short, my aforementioned insecurities were all for naught.

BUT, i still have not decided whether or not to attend the reunion. which is running a little behind schedule as far as i can tell.
