i was behind the photo-taking here for a late night of improvisation. josh & i have been enjoying visits with matt in recent weeks, though it's unfortunate we didn't start hanging out before the ball got rolling toward new mexico (we miss you colleen!).
the summer thus far has beget extra hours of work, piano lessons & practice, and planning for future weddings and vacations. sadly, it leaves little time for penning my next novel or exploring my creativity through words (at least, those words beyond the magnetic poetry on my frig). netflix has also been keeping me occupied. oh, and if i've overlooked you in my latest campaign to bring back snail mail, send me your address [muse(at)furiousmuse(dot)com] and i'll drop you a card.
